A first of it’s kind…
Approached by one of our long standing clients John Deere, OneBigStar was tasked with designing and implementing this exciting event to be the first of it’s kind – a product demonstration streamed online to their customers totally live.
The streamed event involved a multi-camera showroom style product demonstration of three large machines and their tech software and apps. Each machine was represented by a specialist in their field describing the special features and answering questions posed by viewers to the session.
OneBigStar provided all technical equipment including:
- Panasonic PTZ camera system
- Integrated comfort monitors at each station
- In-Ear Monitoring for presenters
- Radio microphones and mixing
- Vision mixing and streaming equipment
- Video recording and post edit
- Studio lighting and control
Our automated PTZ camera system allowed a very small team to carry out the production; an audio engineer and a video engineer. We implemented a strict cleaning procedure along side our Covid-19 safe risk assessment and consumable items for anything worn personally.
“We have worked with OneBigStar on many events throughout the years, their professional attitude, design skills and ability to deliver on-time every-time make them our first choice for our exhibition and production needs. This event was no exception, charged with the brief to deliver a streamed event under such strict conditions proved no problem for their team and I am delighted with the end result, we have received praise from the delegates and this has proved to be a great resource for data capture and feature development.”
Prior to this project OneBigStar were called upon to carry out the technical installation at John Deere’s newly refurbished Visitor Centre. We assisted in the deign of the new layout including the installation of a modular mezzanine structure to act as a presentation space and viewing platform. Our installation included:
- 6m x 6m Mezzanine structure with balustrades, carpet, staircase and AV
- Flown truss grid for lighting fixtures & PA
- Full LED lighting rig to include profile and PAR fixtures with preset control
- Full zoneable PA system with radio mics and local audio inputs
- Draping and curtain track systems
- Tension fabric graphics and frames flown around the perimeter of the room
The showroom space was designed to be as flexible as possible given the range of machine sizes therefore the AV installation also needed to be flexible to allow a huge range of fixing positions for lighting, all with a structured cable infrastructure.
